Focus on Empirical Approaches to Narrative. Focus Editors: Jan Alber and Sven Strasen

ACCELS und das Institut für Anglistik, Amerikanistik und Romanistik sind stolz einen wertvollen Beitrag in der Publikationslandschaft verkünden zu dürfen. Prof. Dr. Jan Alber, Lehrstuhl für kognitive Literaturwissenschaft, und apl. Prof Sven Strasen, Lehrstuhl für britische Literaturwissenschaft, erarbeiten als Focus Editoren die neuesten Ausgabe der national und international angesehenen Fachzeitschrift Anglistik. Jahrgang 31, Ausgabe 1 (2020) glänzt mit herausragenden Inhalten, innovativen Fragestellungen und renommierten Beitragenden. Zusätzlich zu der redaktionellen und inhaltlichen Leistung Prof. Alber’s und apl. Prof. Strasen’s tragen Caroline Kutsch und Jessica Jumpertz, wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterinnen an beiden Lehrstühlen, mit ihrem jeweiligen Artikel zu der inhaltlichen Stärke dieser Sonderausgabe bei.

Ausgabe 1 (2020) fokussiert sich auf empirische Ansätze in der Narrationsforschung und präsentiert neueste Erkenntnisse aus der empirischen und kognitiven Narratologie. Das Journal Anglistik enthält fachwissenschaftliche Aufsätze zum gesamten Spektrum der English Studies, von der Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaft bis hin zur Fachdidaktik. Ein besonderes Anliegen der Zeitschrift ist die Heranführung an innovative Fragestellungen und neue Entwicklungen in den einzelnen Wissenschaftsbereichen des Faches. In konzisen Rezensionen werden wissenschaftliche Neuerscheinungen aus allen Fachgebieten der English Studies vorgestellt.

Anglistik ist das wissenschaftliche Verbandsorgan des Deutschen Anglistenverbandes und erscheint dreimal jährlich (Spring, Summer, Winter). Seit Heft 23.1 (Spring 2012) ist Anglistik kostenfrei als open access online journal verfügbar.
