Caroline Kutsch - Experientiality
Empirically Investigating (Triggers of) Experientiality in Narrative Texts: A Contribution to Cognitive Narratology
In her dissertation project, Caroline Kutsch deals with the theoretical construct of experientiality and empirically investigates which kinds of experiences readers undergo when they read narrative texts, and which textual features may evoke these experiences. To this end, she is conducting a number of qualitative studies (for example, interviews and reading diaries), whose results will be brought together in her dissertation and which contribute to further developing the concept.
